Trails Camp & Dream Cruiser

Intro

An intimate, eco-friendly glamping camp offering a two-night walking-trail experience (extendable to three nights), delivering a perfect balance of adventure and style comfort. Plus, for one or two nights, the Dream Cruiser — a one-of-a-kind sleep-out vehicle that takes you out into the wilderness alone.

Trails camp accommodation

Four en-suite glamping bell tents — a maximum of eight guests. Each tent features extra-length beds, sumptuous bedding, a private en-suite outdoor bathroom with a hot bucket shower. Guests can unwind in front of their tent or in their private wood-fired hot tub, soaking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness.

The Dream Cruiser

Adventurers, romantics and those who love being close to nature will love this experience. Custom-built on a Land Cruiser, it offers guests the chance to spend a romantic and/or adventurous night overlooking a waterhole in the wilderness of the reserve.

Arriving around sunset, guests enjoy sundowners before the chef delivers a three-course meze-style dinner, to be enjoyed leisurely under the African night skies. Built on two levels, the Dream Cruiser features a full bathroom downstairs (shower, flush toilet, basin), while the upper deck has a bedroom with a lounge area. For two people only.

Activities

Adventurous walking trails in Onguma’s pristine wilderness, with the chance of spotting four of the Big Five on foot. Experiencing the Namibian bush on foot lets you connect with nature around you and is the best way to discover well-kept secrets. Our guided safari walks are led by experienced, qualified walking guides with rifles.

Etosha National Park

Etosha — one of Namibia’s most iconic wildlife reserves — is centred around the vast Etosha Pan, a shimmering salt flat visible from space. This unique ecosystem attracts an extraordinary concentration of animals, especially during the dry season, when elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, and large herds of springbok and zebra gather around its life-giving waterholes.
