Okanti Cabin

Private cabin.

Intro

Okanti — meaning meerkat, named after the resident suricat — is a self-catering unit nestled right next to the mountain a short walk north of the main building. It’s invisible from the main building and from the roads, which gives it complete privacy when you want it.

Accommodation

Main bedroom with a king-size bed and shower. A downstairs room with 3 single beds, a shower and a bath. A small kitchenette with fridge, gas stove, and all cutlery and crockery. A pool table for the kids while you enjoy an ice-cold beer at the firepit / barbecue.

In the area

Ubib Grotto (Prehistoric Rock Paintings) — A remarkable archaeological site, named after the farm on which it sits. The pre-historic paintings are estimated as more than 2,000 years old; no oral or written history goes back that far to tell us their purpose. Explore the paintings on the wall and journey back in time to imagine what may have happened in this grotto high in the mountains.
